About GDPN 2023

This year’s Greater Dandenong Principals Network Conference will be held from Thursday 31st August to Friday 1st September at Silver Water Resort, San Remo.

The conference is a fantastic opportunity for colleagues to re connect, strengthen relationships and learn together. Sessions will be dynamic, collaborative and provide intellectual challenge, as well as encourage each delegate to share their thinking with others. In addition, participants will leave with practical strategies and tools they can take back to implement in their school.

In 2023, the program is designed to further build our capacity in leading a positive school environment, where students and staff can learn and thrive.  Our focus on Day 1 will be to deepen our understanding, both as individuals and as a Network, of the power of collective efficacy. How can building shared belief once described by John Hattie as a “strategic pillar of school improvement”, be used to strengthen staff engagement, encourage positive risk taking and innovation, increase student achievement and promote learner confidence? On Day 2 we will explore how we can become more deliberate in positively influencing our own wellbeing, as well as leading greater well-being literacy within our communities.

We look forward to welcoming you to the conference and exploring how we can collectively strengthen the positive learning culture within our schools.
