About FAC 2025
Welcome to the 26th Joint Meeting of kConFab, ISK, ABCFS, ACCFS and Lifepool.
We are excited to announce that the meeting, scheduled for 27 and 28th August, is progressing smoothly. This year the conference will be preceded by the International Meeting of the Psychosocial Aspects of Hereditary Cancer (IMPAHC) taking place on 25–26 August. Together, these events promise an engaging week of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Although the hosting consortia are funded independently and have no formal affiliations, they are united by a shared focus on familial and population-based cancer research.
The joint meeting is a unique and invaluable platform for health professionals—including medical oncologists, surgeons, genetic counselors, cancer specialists, and researchers from Australia and New Zealand—to connect, exchange insights, and advance progress. Discussions will cover new research findings, clinical trials, and cutting-edge technologies addressing familial cancer syndromes, including breast, ovarian, prostate, endometrial, melanoma, sarcoma, leukaemia, and colorectal cancers.
We look forward to fostering collaboration and innovation in this critical field!
