About IMPAHC 2025

For the first time in over a decade the International Meeting of the Psychosocial Aspects of Hereditary Cancer (IMPAHC) will be hosted in Australia. The 18th IMPAHC meeting will take place on 25 and 26 August 2025, prior to the Familial Aspects of Cancer meeting that will be held 27 -28 August in Kingscliff, New South Wales, Australia. 

 

IMPAHC 2025 will showcase scientific presentations across a wide breadth of contemporary topics in hereditary and genomic cancer research and clinical care. Keynote presentations and sessions will feature topics including cancer precision prevention, implementation of polygenic information, paediatric and adult hereditary cancer, and diversity and inclusion in cancer genomic research and clinical care.

Abstract Submission

We invite you to be part of IMPAHC 2025 and present your innovative research! We welcome abstract submissions on hereditary cancer and cancer genomics across the following disciplines and approaches:

  • Genetic Counselling
  • Clinical Research
  • Ethical, Legal, and/or Psychosocial Research
  • Health Services Research
  • Implementation Science
  • Psychology

 

Abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts open on Monday, 10th February 2025 and close Friday, 14th March 2025 at midnight AESTPlease ensure your abstract adheres to the formatting guidelines.
