Kingscliff is a picturesque coastal town, located just 20 minutes by car from Gold Coast Airport (OOL) and approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car from Brisbane Airport (BNE), making it easily accessible for both domestic and international travellers.

The nearest major airports are:

Gold Coast Airport (OOL) – approximately 20 minutes from Kingscliff by car.

Brisbane Airport (BNE) – approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Kingscliff by car.

Both airports are well-served by international flights, with many direct connections from major cities. Upon arrival, you can take a taxi, shuttle, or rent a car to reach Kingscliff. We recommend booking airport transfers in advance for added convenience. SEE BELOW.

For international attendees, please ensure you have the appropriate visa for entry to Australia. Most visitors will require a tourist visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA).

Brisbane Airport is located 90 km from the venue, approximately a 1 hour and 20 -minute drive.

Other Options: The airport website provides details on various transport options. However, shuttle services can be quite expensive, so renting a car may be a more cost-effective choice if you are travelling with a group and you're arriving at this airport.

Please be aware that there are no Ubers available in the Kingscliff area, and taxis do not prioritise servicing the resorts. While taxis may take bookings, they typically do not provide an estimated time of arrival, and unfortunately, they often fail to show up.

Many guests have experienced delays and panic when trying to catch their flights on time. To avoid this, we strongly advise booking and pre-paying for your transfer at least 24 hours in advance. Again, we recommend Tweed Coast and Country Limousines & Transfers for your departure transport.

Cabcharge has changed its payment system, so electronic cab charge or Cabcharge vouchers are no longer accepted. Payment is now by cash or credit card only.

Australia uses a Type I electrical plug, with two flat pins in a V-shape and a grounding pin. The standard voltage is 240V, and the frequency is 50Hz. If your devices use a different plug type or voltage, you will need a suitable adapter or converter.

The official currency is the Australian Dollar (AUD). Credit cards are widely accepted. 

August is winter in Australia, but Kingscliff experiences mild temperatures. Average daytime temperatures range from 14°C to 21°C (54°F to 70°F) with 60% humidity. The humidity makes it feel warm and it’s generally a dry month with cool evenings, so we recommend bringing layers, light clothing and a light jacket, sun protection is recommended as the sun can still be strong during the day.
