Associate Professor Christine Jackman is the Dean of the Epworth Clinical School, coordinator of the third year University of Melbourne MD program, and a consultant emergency physician. She has been involved in medical education with Deakin, Monash and Melbourne universities over many years and has been extensively involved in simulation education, curriculum design and education program coordination. Christine has a particular interest in the teaching of communication skills and the development of communication teaching skills faculty as well as the impact communication has on patient outcomes and staff well being. 

Fiona is the Director Collaborative Care and Work Integrated Learning in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University. She is also an APA neurological physiotherapist and has worked as a clinician and clinical educator at Peninsula Health, Monash Health and in the Physiotherapy Department at Monash University. She completed her Masters in Health Professional Education investigating patient perspectives of student led care and her PhD in interprofessional student education. Her work and research focuses on the development and evaluation of interprofessional curriculum.

Associate Professor Lisa Cheshire has been a medical educator and passionate student advocate for over twenty five years. Lisa is nationally recognised for leadership and service in pre-registration medical education course design and operationalisation, with a focus on flexibility, student support and advocacy. Lisa is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning with the Department of Medical Education at the University of Melbourne and the Course Director for the Doctor of medicine (MD) responsible for ensuring the delivery and redesign of one of Australia’s leading medical courses. These activities are underpinned by a longstanding commitment to patient care, as a general practitioner in regional Victoria.

A/Prof. Michael Ponsford is a rehabilitation physician with a special interest in Head injury, orthopaedic and orthogeriatric rehabilitation.

A/Prof Victor Lee is Director of Emergency Medicine Education, Medical simulation lead and Emergency physician at Austin Hospital. He obtained his Master Health Professions Education in 2015 and was recipient of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine Teaching Excellence Award in 2017. He is currently the Chair of the Trainee Progression Review subcommittee and a Peer Support Examiner at the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. 

Originally a zoologist and science communicator, Ben worked for the Australian and Chinese governments before being diagnosed with colorectal cancer at age twenty-eight. After undergoing eighteen months of cancer treatment, Ben decided on a career change. He became a doctor in 2018 and is now undertaking training in psychiatry. Ben volunteers, advocates, writes and speaks about colorectal cancer, cancer in young adults, medicine and medical education, and is committed to advocating for change in Australia's healthcare system. His memoir, called The Patient Doctor, was published in July 2022.

Phil is a urological surgeon with expertise in robotic and advanced laparoscopic urology and urologic cancers. He has recently returned from the UK, where he undertook sub-specialist training in advanced laparoscopy and was then appointed consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' in London, where he undertook further training in robotic surgery. Since returning home to Melbourne, Phil has joined the urology units at the Royal Melbourne and Western General Hospitals and consults privately at the Epworth.
 

Professor Nair is the Professor of Medicine and Associate Dean, School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Newcastle, Australia.  He holds the position of Director of the Centre for Medical Professional Development, Hunter New England Health Service at Newcastle.  He is assigned to the Health Education & Training Institute  of NSW  as the District Medical Director.

He is a member of the National Panel of Examiners of the RACP and Board of Examiners of the Australian Medical Council

He is the foundation Chair of the Hunter Institute of Ageing Research. In 2016, his team based at the HMRI obtained an NHMRC grant for 3.4 million dollars for research in dementia

In 2013, he took up the Chair of Workplace Based Assessment for the AMC. Professor Nair is the Director of the Workplace Based Assessment Program at Hunter New England Health. 

Prof Nair is the Lead Clinician of the Academy of Clinical Educators at the University of Newcastle and is the Director of the Certificate Course in Clinical Teaching and Supervision.  He is Director of the Masters’ Program in Leadership and Management, which was launched in 2012 by the University of Newcastle.

Internationally, he has delivered Faculty development workshops in many countries. He is Emeritus Advisor for the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
 

Wendy is the manager of Medical Education at Epworth HealthCare. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program, and holds a Master of Adult Education in workplace learning. Wendy has extensive experience across multiple sectors in leadership and management development working both domestically and internationally. Her passion is ensuring safe learning

environments. Highly outcome focused, Wendy is also undertaking a PhD exploring the impact of stress markers on performance.
