New Zealand has international airports in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown, and each of the first three of these cities has direct flights to Rotorua. The domestic flights are cheapest if booked early. Rotorua airport is 9km from the Millennium hotel, with approximately a 15 minute journey time and $30 (NZD) taxi fare.

By Air and Shuttle: Luxury Airport Shuttles provides door-to-door shuttles from Auckland International Airport to your accommodation in Rotorua. The drive is approximately 3 hours. If your flight arrives between 01:00am and 04:30am at Auckland airport, please note you will likely have to wait at the airport for an early morning shuttle. The paired discount on the website is only available for those arriving on the same flight. Please book at least a week before arrival.

By Air and Coach: The coach from Auckland International Airport to Rotorua takes 4-5 hours. The coach is a much cheaper option than a shuttle. The Rotorua Intercity bus stop is just 300m from the Millennium Hotel. Coaches can be booked via www.intercity.co.nz.
