BANKING FACILITIES
Trading banks are open Monday - Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.
ATMs (automatic teller machines) are widely available around the University campus and in the Dunedin CBD.

EATING OUT
Dunedin is very well serviced with a large range of cafes, bars and restaurants catering for many cuisines and tastes.  

VISAs
Travel VISAs may be required by some delegates, VISAs are the responsibility of individual delegates, please organise the necessary paperwork well in advance. Entry requirements

PHARMACIES
The closest pharmacy to the symposium venue is in St Davis Street a 3min walk however lots of pharmacies are located in the main street of Dunedin close to accommodation. Please ask the registration desk for directions.

The registration staff are onsite for the duration of the symposium

We recommend booking your airport shuttle at least TWO days BEFORE your transfer is required. If you require assistance, please ask at your hotel concierge desk.

The cost of a one-way trip from the centre of town to the airport is approximately:
Shuttle: $30.00, transfers will take 45 - 90 minutes
Taxi: in excess of $100.00, transfers will take approx. 30 min

WEATHER
Ōtepoti Dunedin weather can vary a lot. Current November temperatures have been lower than average with an increase in rainfall. We recommend checking METSERVICE or WEATHERWATCH prior to packing.
