Computational thinking was added to the NZ English medium curriculum in 2020 but what exactly is it? Join us at this hands-on day where we will support you in understanding a range of block-based coding platforms so you can lead learning around computational thinking in digital contexts. You don't need to be an expert but you might feel like one by the end of the day! We'll get to grips with Micro:bits and a range of robots and explore how you could integrate these in your school's authentic contexts.

Unpack the computational thinking area of the digital technology curriculum - demystify the jargon and get to know the intent of this area.
