
How much do tickets cost?
Early bird tickets are $350. Full priced tickets are $400.
When does the early bird ticket price end?
Early Bird ticket sales close on 21 July 2023 or when the Early Bird allocation is exhausted, whichever comes first.
Who should attend i-Educate?
The conference will provide a specially designed program targeting the following audience streams:
- iLead – Principals, Deputy Principals, Heads of Department, and other strategic leaders within schools.
- iTeach – staff directly involved in the teaching of students, or who provide direct teaching and learning support to students.
- iSupportIT – school or region based technical officers and Orange Card holders
- iAdminister – Business Manager and staff that provide administrative support to the school leadership team.
Is the Bursary Program running in 2023?
Yes, the Rural and Remote Bursary program is running again in 2023. This is a great opportunity for educators from rural and remote areas of Queensland to attend the i-Educate conference in Brisbane.
The bursary program is open to teachers, teacher aides, librarians, school based technical officers, business managers and school leaders in the following state school regions:
- Far North Queensland
- North Queensland
- Central Queensland
- Darling Downs South West.
Successful applicants receive complimentary registration to the two-day conference in Brisbane, the equivalent Teacher Relief Scheme (TRS) hours (if applicable) to cover their absence, and all travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the event organiser.
Can I attend just one day of the conference?
Single day registrations are not offered due to the structure of the conference program. Attendance on both days will ensure you gain the full learning and networking experience and take advantage of all workshop opportunities.
Can I get a refund if I am no longer able to attend?
If you are unable to attend, you will need to notify us in writing, via the contact form.
Cancellations received 14 days prior or less to the conference will not be eligible for any refund. If you have not paid, the full amount of the registration fee is still payable.
Cancellations received less than 30 days and at least 15 days prior to the Conference will receive a 50% refund. If you have not paid, 50% of the registration fee is still payable.
Cancellations received greater than 30 days prior to the conference will receive a full refund less $125 administration fee.
Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?
Tickets are transferable if you are no longer able to attend. This change needs to first be approved by your Principal/Manager.
You will need to notify us of this change in writing, via the contact form, as soon as possible.
Please include the following information of the person approved to attend in your place:
- Title (e.g. Mr, Mrs, Ms, Miss)
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- School/Department
- Role
- Dietary requirements
- Accessibility requirements
How do I select my sessions?
You will receive an email notifying you that session registration is available closer to the conference dates. You can then log into your IVvy account that you created when registering for the conference to select your sessions. If your registration was part of a group, please see your primary contact to view and/or change your session details.
Under the My Registration tab, click Edit Sessions to view the workshops. Click the checkbox beside the workshops you want to attend and click Save. Select View Itinerary and review the workshops you have registered for and the requirements for each workshop.
When will session selection close?
Session selection will close on September 6 or when the workshop allocation is full, whichever occurs first.
Can sessions be changed prior to or at the conference?
Sessions can be altered through your IVvy account up until session registrations close, pending availability. If your registration was part of a group, please see your primary contact to view and/or change your session details.

Very limited changes will be actioned onsite at the conference.
Can I charge my device at the conference?
You will need to have all electronic devices fully charged for the conference. There will be charging stations and power points available at the conference but these will be limited. You must also bring all charging cables for your electronic devices.
You must have installed the latest software updates to electronic devices (operating systems and apps). Once you have selected your conference sessions, we email you directly with the specific requirements to bring for the session.
Is accommodation available for the conference?
Conference delegates must organise their own accommodation if required.
Is there a conference app?
Yes, a conference app will be available prior to the conference. Notification will be sent via email to the registered delegates with instructions when it is available to download.
Where do I need to go when I arrive at the conference?
All delegates are to proceed to the registration desk located in the Plaza Ballroom Foyer on the Plaza level. The Plaza Ballroom Foyer is situated between the Plaza Terrace Room and the Plaza Ballroom. Note the Registration Desk location is different to previous years. Please refer to the Plaza Link Level map.
Is there a dress code for the conference?
The dress code for the conference and networking function is smart casual.
Will there be internet available at the conference?
Complimentary wireless internet will be available during the conference. Delegates can utilise their departmental credentials to access the wireless network.
I have special dietary requirements – what do I do?
Dietary requirements must be specified through the initial registration process. You will be advised at the conference where to collect your meals. If you have already registered but have not specified your dietary requirements, please notify us using the contact us page.
Can I store my luggage at the venue?
Limited storage facilities are available at the venue via the information desks which provide cloakroom facilities within the Convention Centre. We recommend you store your luggage at your hotel for the duration of the conference if possible.
